The Philosophy

MUGA (無我) is a Japanese Buddhist concept meaning no-self — the dissolution of the ego, the disappearance of the conscious, controlling mind.

In Zen philosophy, MUGA describes the state reached through deep practice and mastery, when the practitioner and the practice become indistinguishable. When technique is no longer performed — it is simply expressed.

In golf, MUGA is that state.
